A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the organisation to deliver the accommodation element of the early intervention and accommodation pilot.
The early intervention and accommodation pilot (EI&A) is an intensive brief early aims to change perpetrators behaviour within a relationship and improve the lives and safety of victims and children by holding perpetrators to account. The project combines intensive early perpetrator intervention alongside an attached partner support service and offer short term accommodation with specialist housing advice
As accommodation support practitioner, you will work within a team of violence prevention practitioners, attached partner support service and DAHA housing lead in order to deliver the programme and work alongside the national development manager to develop and expand the programme.
To do this, you will work alongside statutory and non- statutory agencies to support a short term accommodation offer for perpetrators and support the ongoing intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risks and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours.
The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to working within a multi disciplinary team and will have will have a demonstrable track record of working within and managing domestic abuse services.
