Cranstoun is a social justice and harm reduction charity empowering people to empower change. We offer a wide range of services across England within drug & alcohol, domestic abuse, children & young people’s services, criminal justice and housing.

We are looking for an admin worker to join the children and young people’s team to compliment the new early support youth hub pilot within Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Dudley. The hub will provide information, advice & guidance, planned engagement activities/clubs and undertake wellbeing coaching for those who need help.

You will be part of the Youth Hub team and will work closely with Cranstoun’s Here4YOUth service in Dudley. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain highly accurate data recording, manage the case management system and reporting, premises health and safety audits, and support the team to be able to carry out their role. Amongst other duties you will provide administrative support to the service ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with effectively, compassionately and with sensitivity.

You will have effective organisation and communication skills with the ability to operate within strict confidentiality and GDPR guidelines. You also need to have excellent writing, verbal and computing skills and be able to work confidently with all Microsoft programs and case management systems. You will play a significant part in demonstrating how the youth hub has achieved its outcomes and impact, providing information to present to funders and commissioners.

However equally as important, you’ll bring to this role your experience, integrity, positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivation and ability to use your initiative and contribute to the wider delivery of Cranstoun. Hours can be compressed or spread over the week. A blended approach will be considered including working from the hub, home or Here4YOUth base in Dudley.

We combine proven expertise in working with children & young people with the latest evidence and innovative approaches to ensure the service is effective and makes a difference to the lives of children & young people and their families.
