At Cranstoun, we are always in search of talented and experienced individuals to join our team. A number of exciting opportunities have arisen within our new Sandwell service model.

We provide a range of services for those affected by alcohol and other drugs across the borough. Our skilled and compassionate people work closely with services users and their families to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in harm reduction, clinical treatment and recovery with innovative approaches. We actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide. We are proud of our teams who have a positive attitude, a desire to go the extra mile to make a difference and create a world class service.

Working within a criminal justice setting you will be required to manage a caseload of individuals who are subject to court ordered treatment, Integrated Offender Management arrangements and other National Probation Service initiatives such as rehabilitation activity requirements. There will be close collaborative working with external agencies in order to respond assertively to track and keep contact with individuals within this system. This would include the community, courts and prisons and where appropriate being based in co-location sites with criminal justice agencies such as probation. Being an effective care coordinator is essential as you will be transferring care from prisons to providing ongoing case management. You will have good knowledge of harm reduction and be committed to the delivery of a dynamic and good quality trauma informed alcohol and drug service.

Our staff teams are motivated and committed to delivering a quality service to residents of Sandwell and we are looking for like-minded individuals to join us. You will have good Microsoft office skills and be able to manage your own diary efficiently and proactively. You will have integrity, enthusiasm and a passion to make a difference.

All post holders may be required to work some evenings, and some unsociable hours in order to meet our service delivery requirements. The core service operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with additional hours on some evenings. There will be a requirement to cover these hours on a rota basis. For further information about the roles please contact Irene O’Brien, Team Leader iobrien@cranstouon.org.uk.

All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.
