A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the organisation to support children and young people across Buckinghamshire to address substance use and develop key life skills.

Here4Youth Bucks is a specialist service dedicated wholly to supporting young people and their families. Practitioners will enable children and young people to build resilience factors, confidence and self-esteem, reducing risk and harm caused by drugs and alcohol by delivering targeted and specialist interventions to the most vulnerable young people.

Here4Youth Bucks will prevent children and young people from escalating to more harmful substance use and address the harm caused to children by parental substance use.

As a CYP Practitioner, you will strive to make contact, establishing trust and positive engagement, working on both a one to one and group basis through both scheduled and drop in appointments. You will improve children and young people’s health and social functioning through a broad range of interventions, and you will work alongside existing agencies to design co-ordinated, care plans.

The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to working within a multi disciplinary team with children and young people and addressing matters related to safeguarding and child protection.

Location: Working flexibly across Buckinghamshire with designated premises available in High Wycombe.
