This post is to work within a team providing support to female victims of Domestic Abuse in finding suitable accommodation after fleeing from the harmful situation at home. They may well be coming to us with their belongings, have children and be in a very distressed state of mind.
The role is to manage a caseload of female clients to access temporary accommodation on the day you see them, to then support them in that accommodation and signpost them to relevant services for longer term support. The support will last for an initial up to 12 weeks. You will be at a centrally based office in Birmingham and the working day is approximately 9-5, Monday to Friday (no weekend or bank holiday working) but may require later working to enable a client to access temporary housing on that day.
