A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the organisation. You will be working in a small team of 10. This is a full time, permanent role, working in a woman only service, to provide initial support to victims of domestic abuse, to access accommodation mainly on the day they come to our service. This will be temporary accommodation for any DA victim with dependants (children) or to look at a viable HMO for single people.

The role will also be to work with male and Trans victims, but these are initially seen off site at designated neighbourhood offices, not at the Housing solutions office.

This is an office-based role, so not remote/home working is permitted at the present time.

Female applicants only. Due to the nature and context of the work, having the particular protected characteristic is an occupational requirement and the application of the requirement is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim.

Please speak to either Safural (sgiwa@cranstoun.org.uk) or Maria(mcunningham@cranstoun.org.uk) if you would like further information on the service.

To apply, please download an application form and send to hr@cranstoun.org.uk

All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Please note we are unable to accept CVs.

Closing date: 28th July 2024
