Operations Manager (Clinical Team)

Hours: 35 per week, The core service operates Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm with additional hours on some evenings.

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 per annum

Location: Worcestershire

Contract: Fixed Term 9-12 months maternity cover

At Cranstoun, we are always in search of talented and experienced individuals to join our team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager for the Clinical Team in Worcestershire (9-12 months Maternity Cover)

We provide a range of services for those affected by alcohol and other drugs across the County. Our skilled and compassionate people work closely with services users and their families to change and save lives. We combine proven expertise in harm reduction, clinical treatment and recovery with innovative approaches and we actively involve those we help in improving the design of the services we provide. You will be part of the Worcestershire leadership team and support the County Manager to deliver a safe, effective, and efficient service to our current and future service users. You will line manage a team of supervisors and clinicians, including the service’s Clinical Lead, ensuring the clinical service is compliant with the Care Quality Commissions requirements. Amongst other duties you will support individuals’ development, support personnel matters, listen, respond, and care about staff and service user wellbeing, oversee performance of your wider team, manage the operational flow of your team, maintain high standards of practice and support your team to achieve wider service targets.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years effective leadership and/or supervisory experience. You will need to demonstrate effective communication and organisational skills and have the ability to manage change whilst working to deadlines. You will need to be confident working with external agencies and deliver learning sessions to your team and other agencies where required. You will need a keen eye for detail as part of your role will be to review incidents, ensure compliance with clinical audits and create plans to respond to recommendations.

You’ll need to have good writing, verbal and computing skills and be able to work confidently with all Microsoft programs and case management systems.

The most important things you’ll bring to this role are your experience in the field, integrity, positive attitude, enthusiasm, motivation and ability to use initiative and contribute to the wider delivery of a trauma informed approach.
