Salary: £27,514 – £30,095 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Working flexibly across Buckinghamshire with designated premises available in High Wycombe.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the organisation to support children and young people across Buckinghamshire to address substance misuse and develop key life skills.

Here4YOUth Bucks is a specialist service dedicated wholly to supporting young people and their families. Practitioners will enable children and young people to build resilience factors, confidence and self-esteem, reducing risk and harm caused by drugs and alcohol by delivering targeted and specialist interventions to the most vulnerable young people.

Switch Bucks will prevent children and young people from escalating to more harmful substance misuse and address the harm caused to children by parental substance misuse.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will strive to make contact, establishing trust and positive engagement across staff, service users and partners. You will work on both a one to one and group basis through both scheduled and drop in appointments. You will improve our service provisions for children and young people’s health and social functioning through a broad range of interventions and innovation. You will actively encourage service user involvement in monitoring and commenting on the quality of service provided by Cranstoun, leading to user-focused quality improvement initiatives You will work closely with targeted youth support teams and other partners in order to achieve the best outcomes for the young person

The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to working within a multi disciplinary team and will have will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need children and young people and addressing matters related to safeguarding and child protection.

Police vetting and DBS background check will be undertaken with the successful candidate.
