Salary: £25,250-£30,044 pro rata depending on experience

Location: Working flexibly across Buckinghamshire with designated premises available in High Wycombe.

Working hours: 21 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within the organisation to support children and young people across Buckinghamshire to deliver the Opportunity Bucks, Schools Project.

This will provide a local enhancement of the universal education delivered by school staff, ensuring that schools are fully aware and briefed of the drug and alcohol support available for young people and/or their families. This will include, but not exhaustively, the following:

  • Delivery in assemblies, or year groups
  • Local collaboration, theme days or events within the school
  • Other requests from schools for promotional and awareness raising activities
  • Holding a small caseload of both complex young people and their families

Here4YOUth Bucks is a specialist service dedicated wholly to supporting young people and their families. Practitioners will enable children and young people to build resilience factors, confidence and self-esteem, reducing risk and harm caused by drugs and alcohol by delivering targeted and specialist interventions to the most vulnerable young people across 16 schools.

The successful candidate will be passionate and committed to working within a multi- disciplinary team and will have a demonstrable track record of working with complex need children and young people in school setting and have addressed matters related to safeguarding and child protection.
