Cranstoun’s WISE Project is a new service run by Cranstoun. WISE stands for Women In Safe Environments and our ambition is to provide a safe & welcoming space for women who use drugs and alcohol in the local area.

Developed by women in the local area with support of a Cranstoun team, we are now delivering 5 satellite services that are created with women in mind. These services are like hubs where you can access harm reduction, group-work, support for issues that you are experiencing or grabbing a hot drink and food.

The services will be evolving to continually reflect the needs of women that use them and will support any woman to have the journey, they feel is best suited to them.

WiSE is a safe and welcoming space where women can:

• Access information and support
• Connect with other women
• Share your experiences as a woman
• Have some food and drink!
• Access wellbeing support and exercises
• Be part of a local community of women supporting each other
• Be creative through making art and crafts
• Have your say on how we deliver our services

Attendees do not need to be currently accessing our Cranstoun Drug and Alcohol Treatment Services to attend these projects. We will also not do an assessment on anyone accessing this service – we will just require the attendees name.

*All of our WISE Project Services are open to all women, including trans women.
