West Mercia DIVERT Bookings
DIVERT™ is Cranstoun’s pre-arrest drug diversion programme for those caught by the police in possession of small quantities of a controlled substance. Its aim is to educate individuals to make informed choices about their drug use and is available via Outcome 22. DIVERT™ provides an alternative to arrest and a pathway into meaningful early interventions for people at risk of drug-related harm.

- Harm reduction – needle exchange
- Naloxone advice and dispensing
- Tailored individual advice and support
- Police/community relations

Please note: Direct access to DIVERT™ for under 18s is only available for a first Outcome 22. If the individual has already had an Outcome 22 please refer them to the Joint Decision Making Panel.
