The Domestic Abuse Housing Solutions & Support Service is available to victim-survivors of domestic abuse, with or without children, needing to access support, advice and accommodation with the aim of preventing or relieving homelessness.

Cranstoun’s team of specialist workers will be able to provide advice and support for people considering their options in fleeing domestic abuse, ensuring their current home is safe, ensuring people know their rights and helping find accommodation.

We also offer a women’s only space where people will be able to access the service.

What you can expect when you access Housing Solutions

Our trauma-informed staff will take details about you and your family’s circumstances, giving you time and space to tell us your story.

We will ask whether you would like support to remain safe in your current home, if you need urgent (emergency) accommodation, or if you wish for a planned move to other accommodation.

We can support you with making housing applications, contacting accommodation providers, applying for legal orders against the perpetrator of abuse, safety planning, applying for funds to prevent your homelessness due to domestic abuse as well as onward referrals to other support agencies.
