About Drive

The Drive Project is a collaborative approach to tackling domestic abuse, by liaising with police officers, support agencies, caseworkers and directly with those presenting abusive, challenging and violent behaviour. Drive provides a case manager who acts as a single point of contact for perpetrators.

This project focuses on high risk and serial perpetrators, in order to encourage more engagement with recovery programmes and tackle the greatest risk of harm.

Referrals come directly from police. If you are a professional wanting to discuss how to refer to Drive please contact us. Drive do not accept self referrals.

The programme can provide the following:

• Information and advice
• Support with education, training and employment services, including volunteering
• Social and physical activities
• Debt relief and payment planning support and signposting
• Bespoke one-to-one work with a case manager
• Housing advice, liaison and referral
• Welfare benefits signposting
• Signposting to other services

The Drive Project works with highly experienced staff and organisations that collaborate to tackle the root causes of abusive behaviour.
