About the service
Positive Relationships Gloucestershire (PRG) is for people who have used, or are worried they may use, abusive or harmful behaviour towards a partner, ex-partner, family member or future partner.
The service offers a safe and supportive space to understand behaviour, take responsibility and build safer, healthier relationships.
PRG is voluntary. To take part, you must want to make changes and be willing to engage with the support offered.
PRG is commissioned by Gloucestershire County Council and delivered by Cranstoun.
Who PRG is for
PRG supports people aged 16 and over who live, study, work or access health services in Gloucestershire.
How PRG can help
The programmes help people explore the impact of conflict, anger and anxiety on relationships, understand the causes and effects of abusive behaviour, and develop practical skills for making safer choices.
Support is trauma-informed, strengths-based and focused on accountability, behaviour change and improving relationships where it is safe to do so.
Support for partners, ex-partners and family members
PRG also offers linked support for partners, ex-partners and family members affected by abusive behaviour. This support can help people with their safety, wellbeing and next steps.
