Wandsworth Housing Support
Cranstoun’s housing service in Wandsworth provides supported housing to borough residents in need of drug and alcohol support.
About Wandsworth Housing Support
Cranstoun’s Wandsworth service works to guide and support individuals to move towards independent living. Each person we work with is entitled to up to nine hours of one-to-one and group support each week, working with 30 adults across five properties.
We also provide floating support to those who move on into independent accommodation and to residents who require support to retain their accommodation.
Our approach is person-centered and flexible. Our aim is to support residents in their recovery and help them to develop social and recovery strategies that enable independent living. We do this by collaborating with each resident and working in partnership with drug and alcohol treatment services and other statutory and voluntary services.
When you work alongside our Wandsworth team, you will have access to the following:
- Support to maintain tenancy
- Assistance to overcome social exclusion, supporting access to community. facilities and services available
- Emotional support
- Help with managing personal budgets or debt
- Monitoring health and well being support in relation to primary health care and mental health services
- Supporting service users to have involvement in the service, including regular residents’ meetings
- Life skills programme
- Weekly key work meetings, support plans and risk assessments with regular three-monthly reviews
- Referral to other services, e.g. health, counselling, drug and alcohol day treatment programmes
