We’re delighted to announce Cranstoun Sandwell, our substance misuse service for adults living in Sandwell, has received an overall ‘Good’ CQC rating.
The CQC inspection team carried out a thorough assessment of several aspects of the service, including speaking to service users and staff, observing a multi-disciplinary meeting and non-medical prescriber clinic, and reviewing care records for our clients.
Our service users are at the heart of what we do, so we are particularly pleased to have received an outstanding rating for how responsive our service is. The CQC inspection team said:
“The service was inclusive, and person centred to support individual client’s preferences. It was designed to meet a wide range of individual needs.”
Arron Owen, Borough Manager at Cranstoun Sandwell, said, “We are pleased with the rating and report as it demonstrates our commitment to providing safe and caring services for our service users across Sandwell. We are especially pleased to have received an outstanding rating for service responsiveness, with our team members going the extra mile to meet the needs of all clients. I’d like to say thank you to the team for working as hard as they do, on a daily basis, to help people make positive changes.”
