Social Justice charity Cranstoun have announced a new partnership with Exchange Supplies to expand their harm reduction offer and explore new ways to reduce the risks and harms associated with substance use.
The partnership will see Exchange Supplies provide injecting equipment and training for all Cranstoun staff and other close stakeholders including pharmacies. They will be offered the opportunity to complete Needle & Syringe Practitioner courses, with the aim of embedding a standard across the whole organisation, not just for frontline staff.
Charlie Mack, Chief Executive at Cranstoun said: “This new partnership will allow us to harmonise our harm reduction offer whilst continuing to look at new ways to innovate on behalf of the people who use our services.
“This will allow us to build on our One Cranstoun approach, unifying our work and will allow for a range of harm reduction provision, working with a single provider who shares our vision to be a world-class leader in rebuilding lives.”
“I’m looking forward to working closely with Exchange Supplies to develop and widen our harm reduction services.”
Andrew Preston, Exchange Supplies’ Founder and Managing Director said: “We are really excited to have won this contract to supply equipment and training to Cranstoun, and are really looking forward to working with their great teams around the country to maximise the harm reduction impact of their work.”
