We have been informed by a National Patient Safety Alert that some injectable Naloxone kits which have been distributed may not contain the two needles which may be used in response to an overdose.

To date, there have been no reports of any UK kits affected to date. If you have injectable Naloxone, please check the pack to ensure that there are two needles in the kit.

If your kit does not contain the two needles, please get in touch with your local service for this to be replaced.
